The Untraditional Bridal Party

Over the weekend we had the pleasure of being a part of two beautiful weddings! We fell in love with weddings all over again when each one decided to go off the beaten path of a traditional ceremony processional. Each wanted to throw in their own take on the bridal party, and make sure those they love were truly incorporated. 

We have brought up the idea of incorporating your furry family members before, but if you want to leave an impression on your guests during your ceremony try having your dog come down with your brothers. Making sure ALL of your family both with two legs and four be included in your processional will get some chuckles and “aws” while making some excellent photos! Plus they even get to stick around to watch their parents say “I do”.

Another untraditional ceremony processional this weekend was mixing up the party! The groom and bride had both guys and girls in each of their parties. We absolutely loved this!!! Why should you have to pick only your best girl friends or only your best guy friends? What if you have a guy who is a close friend, but you are the bride? You should be able to include them! We thought this was very thoughtful of the couple, and hope see more parties like this in the future.

When it comes to the big day, we like to remind each of our couples that it is YOUR day! You can do truly whatever you please, and there is no right or wrong.
