Based out of Orange County California, Ilana is a full-service event planner that has successfully grown Ilana Rubin Events to be the next sensation. Ilana began her event planning career in 2010 by producing large-scale social events in New England. She has even built a wedding venue’s reputation from the ground up and worked for prestigious hotels such as Fairmont in their catering department.

I can’t imagine doing anything else

Throughout my career, I've always worked in the hospitality industry and can't imagine doing anything else. I began my journey on the East Coast with a major event production company where we organized and marketed concerts, trade-shows, sporting events, and even parades and block parties. Later, I shifted my focus to the wedding industry and helped open the beautiful Harbor Lights in Rhode Island, where we made history by hosting the first legalized gay wedding in the state.

However, the harsh winters led me to seek out new opportunities to advance my career, so I moved to California in 2014. I moved out to California to work for Fairmont as a Catering Sales Manager, handling corporate clients. After gaining seven years of experience and confidence, I finally decided to take a leap and start my own business in 2016. Since then, I've never looked back and absolutely love what I do!
