However, if you have the capability to do an engagement shoot with your desired photographer, then we 100% recommend doing so. The engagement shoot is not just a time to get more pictures of yourselves (even though this is a perk), but a time to really bond with your photographer.

There is nothing more awkward than feeling uncomfortable with your photographer on the day of your wedding and it coming across in all of your portraits.
