Event Assistant

The role of the Event Assistant will have responsibilities that vary based on event and schedule. As an Event Assistant, the sole duty is to support the Event Manager throughout the wedding or event day. Tasks are extremely varied and depend on the particulars of the event. Event Assistants may be called upon to distribute personal flowers, set up/tear down equipment and/or decorations, greet vendors, cue musicians, attend to guest, vendor, and wedding party questions, and troubleshoot as needed. The Event Manager is in charge of planning the Event Assistant's shift and will assign tasks as needed throughout the day.

As a Bridal Attendant, you will be the person who can be trusted to take care of the bride, communicate to and for her to manage her stress level, keep the day's schedule on track, assisting photo & video team by having personals ready to photograph, gather family members for photos, hold bouquet when not needed for images, etc. The Bridal Attendant may also be called upon to help pin flowers on wedding party, pose couple, grab waters, and assist in other variety of tasks.

Details:

  • Event Days Only (handful of events throughout the season)

  • Saturdays and Sundays

  • Up to 8 hours per event day (scheduled shift hours vary)

  • Scheduling is determined by the company owner based on specific needs.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of hospitality experience

This is a part time (event days only), hourly position. Weekends, evenings and travel are requirements of this position.
