Good Food Really Matters

Other than planning fabulous weddings and events, we also love to network with fellow industry professionals. We are fortunate that our network has grown to be what we call a "database" of talented individuals! Amongst getting to know our fellow pros we love co-hosting experiences for them. For example we co-host every other month or so what we like to call a "Taste & Tour". This is an experience geared to an intimate group of local planners to do a walkthrough of a new property (or maybe one we know but want to know better) and get acquainted with their services.

We recently had the pleasure of teaming up with our good friend Ray who is a catering coordinator at The Fifth in Anaheim (right across from Disney). This rooftop experience is perfect for starry night soirees or for the bride who is "city chic' and wants to wow her guests with some fireworks (literally Disney fireworks are right there).

The space is pretty much a blank slate with risers you can use for a stage, plenty of places for your band or DJ to plug in, and a killer built in bar. (Use imagination, clear the space out and boom blank slate)

Not only was the space blank (which we love), but us planners who attended were then served so much food I thought somebody was going to have to roll me out. The Fifth showed off some of their tray passed items and how the would present them. Not only were they sooo yummy but the presentations were fantastic!

Apps where followed by our main courses which we all preselected prior to our event. There was stuffed chicken, steak, and short rib. Long story short every single one of the planners whom attended were very happy, full, and impressed. Trust me, they would of told me after if their meal was no good ;) but they raved about the food. I personally had the short rib and it pulled apart so easily (as it should). Also I was pleased that it still had "chunks" that came off when pulled apart versus just being mush. Thumbs up!
